DISTRIBUTION OF PACKING AND PACKAGING MACHINERY FOR FOOD PROCESSING AND RETAIL SECTOR

Having become one of the reference actors in the distribution of packaging machines in the agro-food sector in just over 20 years, the Japack Group now consists of several operational companies: Latinpack, which distributes packaging machines located at the end of the production chain, Lassoudry, which distributes machines for the start of the production chain and Eurocri, an engineering company that offers tailor-made services for the design of production lines using the materials marketed by Latinpack and Lassoudry.

"We will pursue the development of the industrial division of BFR Group, with the construction of a new 1,400 m² building for Eurocri. This will boost its growth – and, consequently, that of the group's other businesses – by improving its organisation and allowing the company to expand its range of services for its clients."

Prospects
Business seemed to stabilise in 2010, in a context of strict market requirements.
Where as subsidiaries Latinpack and Lassoudry are still affected by the global crisis, Eurocri(entire production in France), driven by the growing needs for optimisation and automation, posted revenue of about €4.5 million. The strengthened synergies between the three divisions enabled the development of the trading business.
